One of the subplots to Super Bowl LV is Tom Brady vs. Bill Belichick.
Obviously, Belichick and the Patriots missed the playoffs for the first time since 2008 and Brady is in the Super Bowl with the Buccaneers less than a year after leaving the Patriots.
Appearing on The Greg Hill Show Thursday, former NFL running back Marshall Faulk was asked for his take in the debate. Faulk said obviously he sides with Brady now, but things could change in a matter of years.
“We can only deal with the facts that we have right now," he said. "Let’s say in three years Bill wins two Super Bowls with who knows who at quarterback and this is it for Brady, then the pendulum will swing. But that is what we get to do. That’s the beauty of this. We get to do that. We get to judge right now and let time correct us.”
Earlier in the week, Faulk took a shot at Belichick by bringing his lack of success this year up when asked simply about the Super Bowl LV matchup.
