COVID-19 has now impacted the Patriots' quarterbacks room.
According to Mike Reiss, backup quarterback Brian Hoyer is expected to be placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
With the new rules if Hoyer is vaccinated he still has a chance to play on Sunday against Jacksonville. If he doesn't, Jarrett Stidham would be bumped up to the No. 2 QB behind Mac Jones. Stidham hasn't been active for a game this season.
Kendrick Bourne is an example of a player who tested positive during the week, but was able to play on Sunday.
The Jaguars are dealing with a COVID outbreak as 11 total players were placed on the COVID list Monday.
