According to multiple reports, Brian Hoyer is expected to start and not Jarrett Stidham. Stidham has been inactive for all three games this season.
Following Newton and a Kansas City player testing positive for COVID-19, the NFL has rescheduled Sunday's game for Monday or Tuesday.
This is Hoyer's third stint with the Patriots, but he's yet to start a game for the team. He has lost his last 10 starts dating back to the 2016 season.
