The following Patriots players are inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans: Shaq Mason, Trent Brown, Shaun Wade, Ronnie Perkins, Jalen Mills, J.J. Taylor and Devin Asiasi.
Taylor and Asiasi were the two players not known going into Sunday.
Asiasi hasn't been active at all this season, while rookie Rhamondre Stevenson will be active for the first time since Week 1 in place of Taylor.
This also means Jamie Collins is officially active and will play after joining the team in the middle of the week.
Cornerback and offensive line will be the positions to watch as a number of backups will see significant playing time.
For the Texans, former Patriots Danny Amendola and Rex Burkhead are both inactive, and then Marcus Cannon was placed on injured reserve, so he too will not play.
