On Saturday, the Patriots returned to the Gillette Stadium facility for the first time this week, as it was closed Wednesday-Friday following three players being placed on the COVID-19 list.

The team practiced Saturday morning, will hold a walkthrough Sunday and then play the Broncos Monday night.

Speaking via video conference Saturday, several Patriots players reacted to returning to the facility.

Damien Harris: "It's definitely been unique. It's been very different obviously than what we're used to. It's been a little bit different than what we've been used to but, it's the challenge that we're faced with and it's something that we have to overcome. But it felt good getting out there today, finally being able to get on the field and get some work in. It's kind of a big step in our preparation for this game. So being able to go out there and get a good practice in, I think it was a good opportunity for us and hopefully that'll transition into our game."

Joe Thuney: “Yeah, it was great. Good to be back on the field with the guys, running through some plays again. It felt good to be back.”

Lawrence Guy: "I felt good. It's one of those things like we haven't been back in a week, so it's tougher to grab and get the momentum going. But it felt good, knocking some of those cobwebs off, trying to get it going. And I feel like we put a good practice out there, and we're working through everything that we have to work through, and we're putting in installments, and the coaches understand that. We're taking it play by play, and we're going to come out and watch film today, and see those things and correct them and understand we can't give ourselves excuses We can give excuses about how we didn't have this or didn't have that. But that's when you're already in your head. When you understand what you're dealing with, you just go out there and continue to work through it."
