The details of arguably the most anticipated regular season game on the 2021 NFL calendar, Tom Brady’s return to Gillette Stadium to take on the Patriots, have emerged.

According to a report from The Bleacher Report, Brady will lead the Super Bowl Champion Buccaneers to New England on Sunday night, Oct. 3 at 8:25 p.m.

The Week 4 matchup will put Bill Belichick and his retooled Patriots against the quarterback he worked with for two decades in building the greatest dynasty in modern sports.

Finally, it will actually be Belichick vs. Brady!

It’s been more than a year since Brady announced last March that he was leaving New England as a free agent and, shortly thereafter, joined the Bucs for what would end up being a run for his seventh Super Bowl ring in Tampa Bay.

Brady last played at Gillette Stadium, and in front of the Foxborough Faithful, on January 4, 2020 in a Wild Card Weekend loss to the Titans in which he threw a pick-six interception on likely his final throw of his Patriots career.

Brady’s return to his former home is expected to be one of the hottest tickets in regular season professional sports history.
