Rafael Devers' 3-run blast highlights Red Sox' 5-run 3rd inning

The Red Sox wanted to keep their momentum going from Game 3. It didn't take them long to accomplish that goal.

Leading off the home half of the third inning, Tampa Bay manager Kevin Cash choosing to take out starter Collin McHugh after two scoreless innings in favor of rookie Shane McClanahan (who was pitching on 3 days rest after throwing 82 pitches). It didn't work out.

With Christian Vazquez (single) and Kyle Schwarber (walk) each aboard with two outs, Rafael Devers tore into a first-pitch fastball from McClanahan, hitting it 404 feet for a three-run homer.

The Red Sox didn't stop there, with a single from Xander Bogaerts, double by Alex Verdugo and wall-ball single out of J.D. Martinez adding two more runs and driving the southpaw from the game.

Red Sox starter Eduardo Rodriguez did his part both before and after the five-run frame, holding the Rays scoreless with just one hit through four frames.
