BT lauded the drive of Aaron Rodgers to continue his quest to return to game action just 11 weeks removed from Achilles surgery, but he didn’t care for the optics of Rodgers taking calls from Jets fans as a ticket rep in a recent clip posted on Gang Green’s social media.
“When you’re the Jets, it makes you look small,” BT said. “This, I don’t like here. I know why they did it…he hasn’t completed a pass, he’s trying to get back, they’re trying to stay alive an relevant. To me, it just looks corny and desperate when you see Aaron Rodgers working the phones on the Jets social media.”
Rodgers was heard taking a call from a Jets fan in their ticket office, and while many enjoyed the lighthearted gag, BT wasn’t a fan.
“I’m not trying to crush him on this…you gotta read the room better,” BT said. “The season has been miserable. Come on.”
