Some big-time Draft #Knickstape is coming soon to a Summer League court near you.

Well, near you if you’re near Las Vegas, but you’ll be able to watch every game on NBA TV or either ESPN2 or ESPNU – and if and when you do, you’ll see a Knicks roster that includes all four of their 2021 Draft picks, last year’s two first-rounders, recent international signing Luca Vildoza…and a big surprise in Kevin Knox II, who, according to SNY’s Ian Begley, told the Knicks he wanted in.

The 2018 No. 9 pick averaged 21.2 points per game in his first Summer League and 16.8 in 2019, so he may be looking to showcase his talents for other teams amidst his lack of playing time under Tom Thibodeau in 2020-21.

The full roster:

Notes on the other seven players: Simms was signed to a training camp deal as a UDFA just after the Draft; Hall, Rose, and Patton have all spent time with the G League’s Westchester Knicks over the last two seasons; Selden and Travis played overseas in 2020; and Walker went undrafted last week after four years at Florida State.

The Knicks’ squad will play the Raptors, Lakers, Pistons, and Cavaliers in the first portion of the 24-team Summer League, which runs Aug. 8-15, before the tournament portion on August 16 and 17.
