Boomer and Gio were talking about the theme songs of the Braves and Phillies, as the Phils broke out their 'F--- the Bravos, whoever the f--- we play next, and always the Mets' during clubhouse celebrations this postseason.
Gio then played his own version of what the theme song will be for the 2024 Mets, and it wasn't pretty.
"The theme is the Titanic. My Heart Will Go On," Gio said, before the music began playing and Gio gave his rendition of the theme song.
"And now batting, Francisco Lindor. He's down on the ground. Oh, man. It's very similar to the Aaron Rodgers injury. You can see his calf reverberating. That's OK, Kodai Senga is taking the mound. Oh no, he just collapsed on the mound. Don't worry, Edwin Diaz is coming out of the bullpen with his restructured knee…second pitch, oh no, the trainers are coming out.
"The 2024 New York Mets…come out to Citi Field for Brandon Nimmo Jesus bobblehead night, where we have Brandon Nimmo nailed to the cross with the home run apple behind him."
