Having lost Edwin Diaz, though still unknown for how long, the Mets are going to look into another potential bullpen arm.
According to SNY, New York will be attending former Yankee Zack Britton’s showcase in Miami on Thursday, as the veteran looks to win over a team in need of relief help.
The Mets are certainly in that category, as multiple bullpen arms have already gone down, recently Brooks Raley and Diaz, who had to be taken off the field in a wheelchair after hurting his knee while celebrating a win at the World Baseball Classic.
Britton appeared in only three games for the Yanks last season, but setbacks in his recovery from Tommy John surgery halted his return.
