For the second straight day, inclement weather has shut down the Mets and Tigers.

MLB made the announcement just after 1 p.m. that Wedneday's game has been postponed, and will be made up Thursday as part of a single admission double-header beginning at 12:10 p.m.

Thursday was supposed to be an off-day for both the Mets and Tigers, but Tuesday night’s game was postponed after a rain delay of more than two hours and rescheduled for Thursday at 1:10 p.m. – but now, with a second cancelation hours before first pitch and a dicey forecast for tomorrow, it will be two back-to-back games beginning just after noon.

Both games can, as always, be heard on our sibling station WCBS 880 AM.

Adrian Houser vs. Casey Mize and Jose Quintana vs. Tarik Skubal were the pitching matchups scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, and at least one of those will likely remain.
