The Nets blew a double-digit lead to fall into an 0-2 series hole to the 76ers, but Cam Johnson boasted the highlight of the night at the expense of the likely NBA MVP.
Cam Johnson, who went off for 22 points in the first half in game two on Monday night, put Joel Embiid on a poster in the final minute of the second quarter with a driving one-handed dunk right over Embiid’s reach to give Brooklyn a seven-point lead.
The electrifying slam ignited NBA Twitter, but by the time the game ended, the dunk didn’t carry as much meaning, especially to Johnson himself.
“I’m more concerned about wins than dunks,” Johnson said.
Johnson and the Nets will look to get one of those wins on Thursday back in Brooklyn, looking to avoid a 3-0 series hole.
