The Nets reportedly will not be bringing back Nerlens Noel on a second 10-day deal, so the team has pivoted to another free agent center.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Brooklyn is working towards a deal with Moses Brown, who was most recently on a two-way deal with the Clippers.

Brown played 34 games with Los Angeles, averaging 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in just 8.5 minutes per game. He was released after the Clippers added Mason Plumlee before the trade deadline.

Brown, 23, is a New York native, having gone to high school in nearby Queens before attending college at UCLA. He has played for five different teams in five NBA seasons, averaging 5.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in 12.6 minutes of action.
