The Nets continued to make moves on Tuesday, reportedly agreeing to a two-year deal with free agent guard Patty Mills, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The deal is for two years and $12 million, and includes a player option, per Wojnarowski.
Mills turns 33 next week and will be playing for a new team for the first time since 2011, his first year with the Spurs. He has spent the last 10 seasons in San Antonio, averaging 9.4 points and 2.4 assists in that time, while shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from downtown.
The point guard played in 68 games last season, all but one coming off the bench. He averaged 10.8 points and 2.4 assists per game, shooting 41.2 percent from the field.
