I’ve focused a lot in recent weeks about college athletes and their push to allow branding and personal endorsement deals to make money while they’re in college. A lot of that is going to be decided later this spring when the US Supreme Court hands down its ruling.
Meanwhile, the NCAA is now leaning towards eliminating the traditional rule of having college transfers sit out a year in the revenue-producing sports of football, men’s and women’s basketball, ice hockey, and baseball. This made for a terrific show this AM with calls on both sides of the issue.
