Yankee fans getting fed up with all the Aaron Judge walks after four on Tuesday

It was all smiles for the Yankees on Tuesday night after locking up the AL East title with a win over the Blue Jays, but Aaron Judge is still stuck on 60 home runs, his seven games without a homer now tied for the second longest drought of his magical season.

Of course, not all of that is Judge’s doing, as opposing pitchers have begun pitching Judge extra carefully given how dangerous he is at the plate, and that continued on Tuesday in the form of four straight walks in his final four plate appearances.

Yankees Twitter collectively groaned with each passing walk, many of them resulting in pitches that weren’t all that competitive, particularly when Blue Jays pitchers got Judge into a two-strike count.

Judge is walking at a rapid rate since hitting his 60th home run, so even while he hasn’t gone deep, he has consistently been on base and putting together good at-bats. He worked a full count in all five plate appearances on Tuesday night.

Still, fans want to see Judge’s record-setting home runs, and they can’t until he sees more pitches to hit, so they made it known that they weren’t happy about it.
