Aaron Judge has once again left his teammates, and opponents, in awe after Monday night’s heroic one-man performance in Seattle.
Having already blasted two home runs to grab the American League lead, Judge then robbed Teoscar Hernandez of a home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to end the frame.
Judge, who leads the league in multi-home run games since his rookie season, now has 31 for his career, moving him to fifth place in franchise history, behind Yankee legends like Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig, and Joe DiMaggio.
Per OptaSTATS, Judge is the first player in three decades to hit two home runs and rob one of his own in two different games during his career, as he also did the same in July of last season.
After setting the American League home run record last season, Judge is now hitting more home runs per at-bats than he did in 2022.
