The Yankees announced Saturday morning that they have placed reliever Chad Green on the 15-day IL with a right elbow strain.
It seems like good news for the Yanks, as Green left Thursday’s game against the Orioles with what the team described as forearm discomfort, leading many to fear the worst, like a UCL injury.
