The Dean of ACC Football and sports columnist for the Richmond Times-Dispatch and Richmond.com joined Kyle Bailey on the Clubhouse to first give us clarification on Notre Dame possibly joining the ACC and being eligible for the conference title this year by stating "They very clearly could be pending approval of ACC Presidents by playing a 10 game league schedule". David also states that the reason this could be done is that "It's a pandemic, everybody needs, and the ACC and ESPN needs inventory and Notre Dame is the most valuable form of inventory in the ACC".
David also states that spring football "Is a last resort for the ACC, but that means we would not see the likes of Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne" David also says this would likely be a more abbreviated season, but David says "he doesn't even think a college football season would start due to the threat of COVID numbers spiking once students across the country return to campus".
