The NFL Reporter and Writer for Pro Football Talk and NBC Sports joined Kyle Bailey once again on the Clubhouse to discuss the biggest news in the NFL and inside Bank of America Stadium.
The first thing that Kyle asked him what should be role for sports teams and players in iniatiing social change and Darin told Kyle:
"I think sports teams have an obligation to their community to take up active roles even if it's not in an election year like this one. If you're taking any matter of public funds for your stadium, operations of the stadium, or your new facility in the suburbs I think you have an opportunity to share that wealth with your community because you can be an influence."
Kyle then wanted to gauge Darin on how the league is handling COVID testing so far as Darin was surprised with how good the results have been over the past month and he thinks daily testing has helped as only 4 guys are on the COVID list across the league.
Darin also weighed in on the Panthers and Darin says the Panthers have a chance to be really ok, and says the goals should be to not be dreadful and find guys who are going to be apart of the solution going forward.
