The Panthers beat writer joined Nick & Josh today on Wilson & Parcell to recap the Panthers week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
The first question that Josh asked was how bad was the void left behind by Luke Kuechly and Joe responded:
"Anyone who took that spot after Luke retired was going to be scrutinized and unfortunately Tahir is that guy. He also didn't get any help with being involved with 2 key PI calls."
Nick then asked what he thought of the Panthers rookies in their debut yesterday as Joe told Nick:
"Jeremy Chinn looked good and as advertised. He made a play on Devontae Booker that really showed his closing speed. Derrick Brown played active, but I think he can impose his will more as he gets more comfortable, and Troy Pride struggled."
