The Panthers legendary WR turned NFL Network Analyst joined Kyle Bailey to discuss some of the biggest stories in the NFL from the Panthers to Earl Thomas being released.

The first thing that Kyle wanted Steve to break down was the ceiling for Teddy Bridgewater in Charlotte and the Panthers as a whole and Steve said:

"You're going to learn what his ceiling is going to be as the season progresses once we get out of sloppy September and get into November. Teddy however is not the concern for this team, it's that defense that looks very different from last year. You don't have Luke Kuechly, you don't have the same cornerbacks playing like last year. I think Jeremy Chinn is a steal, but how is he going to respond to being hit by the Todd Gurley's of the world. All of this is going to be baptism by fire in this COVID football season."

Steve also weighed in on anthoer former team of his in the Ravens as they released star safety Earl Thomas over the weekend as Steve told Kyle:

"The Ravens have something so special there, and they can't allow something so special to be derailed by someone who should be apart of that process, but what I've heard is at the end of the day is that this was the straw that broke the camel's back. I also heard that Earl (Thomas) was not coachable, he did things that were not the Raven way and whether you've been there for 5 weeks you're once a Raven always a Raven and I talked to several guys on the team and they said he wasn't a Raven."
