Former NFL QB Sean Salisbury turned host of the Sean Salisbury Show on Sports Talk 790 in Houston joined Kyle Bailey today on The Clubhouse to give his latest thoughts on the Panthers and the biggest news around the NFL.
Sean started the interview to discuss the Panthers first half of the year as he told Kyle that he has been impressed with both Matt Rhule and Joe Brady so far as he let us know again that he thinks Joe Brady isn't long for Charlotte. Despite the praise, Sean said he is afraid the Panthers will run into a buzz saw this weekend against the Chiefs.
Sean also gave his latest thoughts on Teddy and the notion of him being a franchise QB as he thinks of Teddy as a guy who is really good, but thinks the jury is still out on that. Sean did say that if you put weapons around him like San Francisco did with Jimmy Garoppolo Teddy could take them to the Super Bowl.
When it came to the future of the Patriots Sean told Kyle that he has heard from people such as Scott Zolak have hinted at a master plan from Bill Belichick that includes possibly going after Jimmy Garoppolo to be the next QB for the Patriots.
