The Sports Director for Fox 46 Sports in Charlotte joined Kyle Bailey today on the Clubhouse to discuss his latest observations from Panthers training camp, and what he thinks the Hornets should do with the third pick.
The first thing that Will discussed with Kyle is if the Panthers should look at signing Jadeveon Clowney and Will said if it's at the right price and for 1 year he wouldn't mind it, but at the same it would not put the defense over due to the amount of holes in the defense right now.
Will also told Kyle about his concerns for the offensive line by saying:
"The offensive line is the most important thing in this year's training camp because it doesn't matter how fast Curtis Samuel is, how good DJ Moore is, and how dynamic Christian McCaffrey is if Teddy doesn't have any time and this offensive line can't be better than last year all of this is going to be irrelevant of the flash and the bling of the offense. The line has to be good, then the offense will be fun to watch."
When it came to how first round rookie Derrick Brown has been doing in camp Will told Kyle that he hasn't heard too much about him, but Will said that the coaches like the way he moves the pile which is invaluable for a DT and Will also tells the listeners that not every DT will be like an Aaron Donald and have many sacks.
