WCNC Sports Director Nick Carboni joined Wilson & Parcell and previewed the Panthers Week 1 matchup against the Raiders.
He was asked what the strengths will be on this Panthers team?
“I think the strength will be the offense with Christian McCaffrey and Teddy Bridgewater… I also like the mystery of what this offense is going to look like which I am excited to see on Sunday…”
He touched on not having an offseason and whether it will be a factor for this Panthers team?
“It will absolutely be a factor… this team didn’t get to get together until August… this team is going to have to gel as the season goes on because of no offseason practice."
He also gave his prediction for how many wins Carolina will have.
“I have them at 4 but for them to win more games I think the defense has to do well this and the secondary has to do better than expected…”
