The Sports Columnist for the Memphis News and Co-Host of Giannotto & Jeffrey on 92.9 ESPN in Memphis joined Kyle Bailey on the Clubhouse to discuss the passing of John Thompson, and to discuss if James Wiseman would be worth the 3rd pick.
The first thing that Mark got into was the legacy that John Thompson left behind in College Basketball and the DMV area as Mark worked for the Washington Post and how John wanted to help so many people in the area and how stuff like that is why his legacy is so powerful.
The Mark broke down the potential with James Wiseman and if he would be worth the 3rd pick and Mark stated:
"I would say yes. He is an intriguing prospect because he has a ceiling where you could envision becoming a Kevin Garnett type player in terms of versatility. I think where is really gonna be an effective pro is if he picks his skills to be really good at. The big question with him is will he try to do too much. When he's a 5 in a rotation, he's really good, but when he expands his game out and ask him to do too much is when you really see the flaws open. You also have to worry about him bringing it every game."
