The College Football Insider for Fox Sports joined Nick Wilson & Josh Parcell today as he discussed the latest twist in the Big 10 saga, and if we are overhyping the Tar Heels.
The first thing Nick had Bruce react to was the tweet that Ryan Day sent out asking the Big 10 to explain to their players why they are not playing in the fall and Bruce told Nick that it's wild to see a program like Ohio State call out the Big 10 shows how big of a mess it is right now.
Josh then chimed in asking what a realistic time would be for the Big 10 to return to playing football as Bruce said he's having a hard time gauging it because one source says Thanksgiving seems likely, then another source tells him that they'll be ready to go by October.
Nick then turned things down south to ask if Bruce is buying the hype surrounding the Tar Heels and Bruce Responded:
"I am in. I've been a big believer in Sam Howell since I've seen him at the Elite 11 camps a couple of years ago. I think they have really good skill guys, but I'm not saying they will overtake Clemson, but they are a legit top 15 team this year."
