The ACC Network Analyst and former O-Lineman for the Clemson Tigers joined Kyle Bailey as he recapped the biggest stories from the Week 2 College Football games in the ACC.
The conversation started with Kyle asking the age-old question of if the U is back after beating the Louisville Cardinals on the road as Eric replied:
"They've got a long way to go. I think it was great to see the improvement on offense as they looked more dynamic on offense from week 1 to week 2, but at the same time, the Louisville defense gave them a lot of help. I'm not ready to crown the U the kings of college football again, but you've got to be impressed with what they're doing."
Kyle then shifted his focus to the shootout in Raleigh as NC State edged out the Demon Deacons 45-42 as Eric told Kyle he was pleasantly surprised by the Wolfpack because the team had so many unknowns entering the season as Bailey Hockman performed marvelously, and the running game looked really good. Eric also wanted to let us know that the defense will come along as the season progresses as he thinks it's just a product of the current landscape.
Kyle also wanted Eric to expand upon what happened to Duke as they fell to BC 26-6 in their home opener as he said they made it hard upon themselves with the turnovers, but Eric also said the pass rush was a bright spot for the Blue Devils that they can build around as the season progresses.
