The Head Coach of the Charlotte 49ers Football program joined Kyle Bailey on the Clubhouse today to discuss the latest with the 49ers football program with the start of the season creeping closer.
The first thing Kyle asked to Will is his confidence level of getting the college football season and Will said:
"Absolutely, yes we can do it. We've been practicing for 3 or 4 weeks, and we've been very fortunate with our testing and our guys have really bought in to making this campus as much of a bubble as they can possibly make it. If you leave here you're going to come back and we'll quarantine you. The next step now is to make sure our travel goes as it should from having masks on, socially distant on the planes, making sure the hotels are clean. I'm very optimistic that we will be able to do this thing."
Will also told Kyle that he has fielded phone calls to keep the parents informed on everything going on during this process, and Will has also kept in contact with many coaches from the likes of Skip Holtz, Seth Littrell, and Mack Brown to ask advice to learn the best ideas to keep everyone safe during this process of playing in the midst of a pandemic.
