The President and Anchor of PRN Doug Rice joined Kyle Bailey on the Clubhouse today to recap the Texas race that wouldn't end, and if there could be one more twist at Martinsville before the final race at Phoenix.
The conversation started with Doug discussing the long wait it took to resume the race at Texas this week and how Kyle Busch finally got the monkey off his back and won in 2020 as Doug said with the way his season was going he didn't think it was going to happen, but with this win Doug thinks it can carry some momentum into 2021 for Rowdy.
Doug was then asked by Kyle about Hendrick officially signing Kyle Larson to drive the revived 5 car as Doug said it was the worst kept secret in NASCAR and said that he believes the remorse that Larson is showing after using a racial slur this past spring and is happy that he is getting a 2nd chance.
Finally Doug previewed the final race in the Round of 8 as Kyle wanted Doug to tell him if any driver below the cut line could win Sunday who would it be as Doug thinks Chase Elliott would be the best bet as he always has a good car at Martinsville, but he just hasn't been able to win the Grandfather Clock.
