Doug Rice explains how Joey Logano's win at Kansas completely changes the NASCAR playoff picture

The President and Anchor of PRN joined Kyle Bailey today on the Clubhouse as he recapped Joey Logano's win at Kansas over the weekend, and how it changes the playoff picture with just 3 weeks remaining in the season.

Doug started off by recapping the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway which saw Joey Logano edge out Kevin Harvick to secure a spot in the championship 4 as Doug said what got Joey the win was his pit crew was able to have the best pit stop at the right time and Joey was able to take advantage of the aero package to hold off a hard-charging Kevin Harvick. Doug also said this race could impact a championship favorite like Denny Hamlin who had a rough go at it on Sunday after hitting the wall as if Denny can't win the next 2 races, his presumed spot in the championship 4 could disappear.

Kyle then asked Doug about another driver in the round of 8 in Chase Elliott and his chances for the Championship 4 as Doug said as of right now Chase is the odd man out of the group as of right now as Doug says Chase probably needs some help as well as running well to still have a chance at the championship.

The final thing that Kyle asked Doug was about the reinstatement of Kyle Larson who was indefinitely suspended by NASCAR after the use of a racial slur was used by Larson on a Twitch stream for an iRacing event and Doug said told Kyle:

"I had a long time to think about this because it's such a touchy subject, but I don't think there is an unpardonable act that you can do and not be given a second chance on most things. There are a lot of athletes who have done a lot of worse things over the years and been reinstated and were able to have careers. I'm glad and I honestly think that Kyle has realized what he did and has made up for it, and I think he is a different guy compared to the one who messed up 6 months ago, and if he is the guy he says he is then I'm glad he is getting a 2nd chance."
