The former national champion from LSU turned Sirius XM host joined Nick and Josh today on Wilson & Parcell to preview the upcoming SEC football season.
The first thing that Jacob discussed with the guys was how different LSU would look after losing so many key pieces from the National Championship team last year as Jacob told the guys:
"You lose a lot of talent to the draft along with your players opting-out. But I've been saying this all offseason that LSU has to build off your success from winning the National Championship with recruiting and Coach O has shown that he can develop talent. The biggest question is how well Myles Brennan is going to play replacing Joe Burrow."
The conversation then turned to the SEC East and if Florida has closed the gap as Jacob agrees with that sentiment and then some because he has Florida winning the SEC East as Jacob said that Dan Mullen is already a talented coach with limited talented, but now he actually has some talented players including QB Kyle Trask. Jacob also tells us the concerns for Georgia are mostly at the uncertainty at QB.
