The Atlanta Braves are advancing to the National League Divisional Series.
It's been a while since Braves fans have been able to celebrate a postseason feat like this.
That's a lot of days. MLB.com scribe Mark Bowman, a long-time Braves reporter, offered up similar analysis.
Speaking of Ian Anderson, the rookie pitcher was spot-on Thursday. He pitched 6 innings of two-hit baseball and struck out nine along the way. Braves starters during this two-games series were spectacular.
The Braves entered the postseason with the worst ERA among starting pitching at 5.51. Anderson didn't allow a run and neither did Max Fried in Game 1. One of the few weaknesses for the Braves in 2020 has been starting pitching after Fried. So far, so good in the postseason.
