The former Atlanta Braves infielder turned Analyst for the Braves on Fox Sports Southeast joined Kyle Bailey today on the Clubhouse to preview the Braves first-round series against the Reds.
The first thing that Kyle asked Nick was if he thinks Freddie Freeman should be the front runner for the NL MVP and Nick said he absolutely be the front-runner because the stats are there, he is on a postseason team, and he came back after battling COVID.
Kyle also wanted to know if Nick is concerned about the pitching staff outside of Max Fried and Nick told Kyle:
"I was more concerned 3 weeks ago, but now I'm not as concerned. I feel better now, but I don't know how they are going to perform in a postseason environment but as far at what guys like Ian Anderson and Kyle Wright have done lately have definitely eased some of the concerns."
Nick also discussed the Reds and his main fear as he said like most people he is concerned with their pitching rotation being led by Trevor Bauer and Sonny Gray.
