John Hollinger from the Athletic joined the show and gave his thoughts on the Russell Westbrook trade rumors and also gave his thoughts on LaMelo Ball.
He was asked if a Westbrook trade to Charlotte would make since for the Hornets.
“If they have the chance to trade Cody Zeller and Nic Butum for Russell Westbrook then I think they should look at the trade but I wouldn’t go crazy over it…”
He was also asked if he still thinks LaMelo Ball will go 1st in the draft.
“I am less confident that LaMelo will go first because a lot of chatter about Anthony Edwards being the pick which means LaMelo might be the guy that could be the pick for Charlotte… I would take LaMelo because I think he is the most talented player in the draft and this would be a good chance for the Hornets to get high end talent…”
