NFL Week 2 Marred By Injuries: Saquon, McCaffrey, Bosa Among Stars to Go Down

The storyline of Week 2 was not about who won or lost, or protests or individual performances, but rather the number of injuries that occurred across the league, particularly to star players.

Saquon Barkley, Nick Bosa and Christian McCaffrey were just some of the biggest names to leave games with injuries on Sunday with plenty more key players to follow.

While injuries are a part of football and happen every week, the reaction on social media felt like this was one of the worst injury weeks in quite some time.

Here is a look at which players went down and what the latest is on each of them:

Atlanta Falcons

RT Kaleb McGary (Knee): The Falcons’ right tackle may have suffered a sprained MCL. He will undergo an MRI Monday.

DE Takk McKinley (Groin)

S Ricardo Allen (Elbow)

Baltimore Ravens

CB Tavon Young (Knee): The Ravens nickelback was listed as doubtful to return to Sunday’s game. He was seen holding his left knee.

Buffalo Bills

TE Dawson Knox (concussion).
