Matt Dery of the Locked On Lions Podcast joined the show and gave his thoughts on the Panthers Sunday opponents the Detroit Lions.
He was asked if Matthew Stafford is going to play Sunday.
“He is going to play… The thumb is a minor issue but he will be out there for sure…”
He was asked about the Lions 2020 season so far.
“The Lions are not in any rebuild… There should be no excuses and the product should be better…”
He also gave his thoughts on Lions Head Coach Matt Patricia
“I think the owner wants to see some improvement and the next two week will tell where this team is going… Let’s remember that they brought Patricia in because of his defense knowledge in New England the defense hasn’t been that great…”
