Trevor Sikkema; who is a Senior NFL Draft Analyst for The Draft Network joined Kyle Bailey today on the Clubhouse to discuss the biggest storylines in the NFL, and which players in College Football have seen their draft stock skyrocket.
Trevor started the conversation by discussing the struggles of former first round pick Carson Wentz and if they are overblown as Trevor says that Carson's struggles are real as he is throwing way too many interceptions and unlike Jameis Winston, he isn't throwing nearly as many touchdowns as well as he thinks Carson is now worse than Jameis. Trevor also thinks if the Eagles were not in the NFC East Wentz might have been benched.
Trevor then gave his mid-season thoughts on the Panthers as they find themselves at 3-5 as Trevor stated:
"For the Panthers to be at 3-5 at the midway point is an absolute win for them, especially when most people thought that they would have 3 wins in the whole season. I do think that this is an absolute learning year for them and the fact that they are at 3-5 halfway through the year given everything with this roster is an absolute win."
Kyle wanted to know from Trevor before the end of the interview if there are any players in college football whose draft stock has rose tremendously since the start of the season as Trevor immediately pointed out BYU QB Zach Wilson as Trevor thinks Zach Wilson might be QB3 by the time draft season comes around, and Trevor also thinks that Florida TE Kyle Pitts has proven to be a complete mismatch for defenses.
