NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, who covers the league for CBS Sports, Radio.com as well as host of Inside Access on 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore joined Kyle Bailey on the Clubhouse to discuss the Panthers season and the looming reinstatement of Antonio Brown.
Jason first weighed in on the Panthers 3-3 start to the season as he said he thought the Panthers would be playing like this at the end of the season and thinks that they are ahead of schedule in their process.
When asked about the Panthers making a trade at the deadline Jason said if it were to happen it would be for a veteran like TE Darren Fells or go after a young guy who could be looking for a change of scenery, but the challenge in that will be that the other team might not want to part ways with a cheap asset just yet.
Kyle then asked Jason his thoughts on who could try to sign Antonio Brown once he is reinstated by the league after week 8 as Jason responded:
"I would say the caveat in this is if he gets fully reinstated, with this guy so many stories have taken such dramatic twists and turns like he has to have no new allegations between now and when he gets reinstated. Assuming he does get to that point do I think someone will sign him? Yes. How will that go? I have no bleeping clue."
