New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick had plenty to be upset about after his team's Monday night performance against the Buffalo Bills in Foxboro, but one moment in particular seemed to really set him off.

After challenging a play that had no chance of being overturned, cameras captured Belichick on the sideline talking to someone on the phone -- presumably whoever it was who advised him to throw the red flag -- and then smashing said phone.

The poor phone becomes the latest piece of sideline technology to meet its end at the hands of Belichick.

Back in 2016, ironically against the Bills, he smashed a Microsoft tablet coaches use to review plays, and was so frustrated that he switched back to the old-school paper print-outs.

A couple years later, it was the tablet once again.

Now, Belichick joins David Ortiz in the club of Boston sports legends who have taken out their frustration on a phone.

And of course, Belichick's smash is already turning into a meme.

The Bills went on to beat up on the Patriots, 38-9, to improve to 12-3 on the season.
