Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - With the 2023 preseason officially in the books, the Buffalo Bills have already began cutting down their roster ahead of Tuesday's cut-down day.

LISTEN LIVE TO WGR:

The Bills announced on Sunday the release of defensive tackle Cortez Broughton, wide receivers Isaiah Coulter and Dezmon Patmon, safety Jared Mayden, tackle Garrett McGhin, tight end Jace Sternberger, and linebacker DaShaun White.

Buffalo also released pass rusher Shane Ray with an injury settlement from Injured Reserved.

The Bills will have until 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday to finalize their 53-man roster for the upcoming 2023 season.

At that time, Buffalo will also have to decide whether or not to keep veteran pass rusher Von Miller on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list or add him to the 53-man roster. If he remains on PUP to start the regular season, Miller will be required to miss, at least, four games.

The Bills will also finalize their practice squad shortly after Tuesday's cut-down day.
