While the Buffalo Bills saw the return of wide receiver John Brown to the practice field on Wednesday, safety Micah Hyde did not practice and was listed as being in concussion protocol on the team’s official Wednesday injury report.

Hyde was involved in a serious collision with wide receiver Breshad Perriman in Sunday’s 18-10 win over the New York Jets. It’s unclear if Hyde was injured on that specific play. He was on the field for stretching in the early portion of practice open to the media, but was listed as a did not practice afterward.

Defensive and Jerry Hughes, named AFC Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday morning, was also on the field stretching but did not participate in the session due to a foot injury.

For the Bills' Week 8 opponents, the New England Patriots, wide receiver N’Keal Harry did not participate due to a concussion.

The Bills will return to practice on Thursday at 12:15 p.m. ET at One Bills Drive.
