Training camp officially opens for the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday in Orchard Park. The veterans who have not reported to One Bills Drive will do so on Tuesday, while the rookies have already been at the team facilities since last week.
Here's the roster for each position group, and one big question that needs to be answered before the start of the regular season:

Quarterback:
- Josh Allen
- Mitch Trubisky
- Jake Fromm
- Davis Webb
QUESTION: Will the team keep three quarterbacks on the active roster?
If they do, the battle for No. 3 will be between Fromm and Webb. Whichever does not win the job will then be exposed to waivers when he’s released.
The Bills may want to keep four total quarterbacks (three on the active roster and one on the practice squad). In that scenario, it would be easier to keep Webb since he would be far less likely to be claimed than Fromm. But if Fromm doesn’t show he’s worthy enough to make the roster, that won’t matter, anyway, and they may just move on.
The reality is both players could be let go at the end of camp, saving one overall roster spot.

Running back:
- Devin Singletary
- Zack Moss
- Matt Breida
- Taiwan Jones
- Antonio Williams
- Christian Wade
QUESTION: Will Matt Breida or Antonio Williams make Devin Singletary or Zack Moss expendable?
While many want to focus on the battle to be the lead back, there most likely will never really be one, but rather a committee approach instead.
Jones is a huge special teams contributor and doesn’t factor in here. Wade is a great story, but still a major long shot.
Breida and Williams will both have a chance to show they deserve a shot at running the ball, and if either does, it could very well be at the expense of Singletary or Moss.

Wide receiver:
- Stefon Diggs
- Cole Beasley
- Gabriel Davis
- Emmanuel Sanders
- Isaiah McKenzie
- Jake Kumerow
- Duke Williams
- Tanner Gentry
- Isaiah Hodgins
- Brandon Powell
- Marquez Stevenson
- Lance Lenoir
QUESTION: What happens after the top-four?
This group has a lot of depth on the back end, but that means several solid players will be on the outside looking in after Diggs, Beasley, Davis, and Sanders.
McKenzie probably has the inside track at a job, especially because of his return ability.
However, the team loved Kumerow last year, enough to make sure they snatched him back up after losing him to the New Orleans Saints for about a month. Williams continues to be an intriguing big body who’s shown he can play in the league, and Hodgins is the ultimate wild card after missing last season on Injured Reserve.
Even if they keep six wideouts, more than one of those players will most likely be left without a chair when the music stops.

Tight end:
- Dawson Knox
- Jacob Hollister
- Reggie Gilliam
- Nate Becker
- Tommy Sweeney
- Quintin Morris
QUESTION: Do they add to this group before the regular season?
There has been, and continues to be, a lot of speculation surrounding the Bills and Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz. His situation in Philadelphia doesn’t appear to be resolved, and many still think the Bills are a fit and would pursue adding him either via trade or if he’s ultimately released.
That’s not to say the Bills don’t like this group of players. They do. Knox has shown to be perfectly capable in the lead role. Hollister is a valuable addition, as well.
However, a talent like Ertz may be too tough to resist for a team that has Super Bowl aspirations, if the price is right.

Offensive line:
- Mitch Morse
- Dion Dawkins
- Daryl Williams
- Jon Feliciano
- Cody Ford
- Ryan Bates
- Jordan Devey
- Ike Boettger
- Bobby Hart
- Jamil Douglas
- Forrest Lamp
- Spencer Brown
- Tommy Doyle
- Jack Anderson
- Syrus Tuitele
- Steven Gonzalez
QUESTION: Who starts at left guard?
Barring something unforeseen or an injury, we know the starting line will consist of left tackle Dion Dawkins, center Mitch Morse, right tackle Daryl Williams, and Jon Feliciano at one of the guard spots. But which side may depend on who the other starting guard is.
Feliciano is most likely penciled in on the right with Cody Ford on the left. However, Ford starting isn’t a forgone conclusion. Returning from a knee injury, he will battle with Boettger and Lamp.
From there, they could also decide to put one of those players in the right with Feliciano on the left.
