The Buffalo Bills have started the season 2-0 and will next host the Miami Dolphins for Thursday Night Football but early signs are they could be without linebacker Matt Milano as head coach Sean McDermott confirmed Milano would miss practice on Monday with a pectoral injury.
Milano ultimately exited the Bills 30-10 win over the Jets late in the second quarter and, while he was never officially ruled OUT, he did not return. Milano has dealt with a number of injuries the past few seasons, last year a bicep tear and the year prior a broken leg and MCL tear.
Other injury notes from McDermott, defensive tackle Ed Oliver also is not practicing as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. Three players are expected to be limited, cornerback Taron Johnson, who was inactive against the Jets, fellow corner Cam Lewis and linebacker Shaq Thompson. Defensive back Jordan Hancock is expected to be a full participant.
