Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills are adding another piece to their secondary after already adding C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Dee Alford this offseason.
As first reported by NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Bills are signing free agent safety Geno Stone on a one-year deal.
A former seventh-round pick (219th overall) of the Ravens in the 2020 NFL Draft out of the University of Iowa, Stone has played 85 games over six seasons with Baltimore and the Cincinnati Bengals, making 53 starts and recording 312 total tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, 21 passes defended and 14 interceptions.
Arguably the 26-year-old's best season to date in the NFL came back in 2023, his final season with the Ravens, where he started 11 of 17 games played and recorded 68 total tackles, nine passes defended and seven interceptions.
Over the past two seasons in Cincinnati, Stone was a full-time starter, starting all 34 combined games and registering 185 combined tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, 10 passes defended, six interceptions and two touchdowns.
