The team announced on Friday that defensive end Shaq Lawson and linebacker Marquel Lee have both inked one-year deals for the 2022 season.

Lawson was originally Buffalo's first round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Clemson University. He played four seasons with the team, collecting 16.5 sacks before signing with the Miami Dolphins as a free agent.

After one season in Miami, Lawson was traded to the Houston Texans, but never played a game for them before being traded, once again, to the New York Jets. The 27-year-old spent most of the 2021 season in East Rutherford before being released prior to the final game of the regular season.

Lee spent 2021 training camp with the Bills, but was waived prior to the regular season.

The 26-year-old entered the league as a 2017 fifth round pick of the Oakland Raiders out of Wake Forest University, playing the first three years of his career there before being waived with a failed physical designation in July of 2020.

Lee was not on an NFL roster in 2020, then signed with the Bills in March of last year. He returned to the Raiders after the Bills released him last training camp, playing 11 games for Las Vegas.
