Watch: Stefon Diggs handed out high-fives to rally teammates in wake of Sunday's loss

It goes to show why Diggs is a true leader

The Buffalo Bills didn’t begin their 2021 season as planned with their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in Orchard Park.

But Stefon Diggs wants all of his teammates to know that’s OK.

Following a late fourth quarter field goal from kicker Tyler Bass, which effectively sealed Pittsburgh’s 23-16 victory, Diggs was spotted with his head down on the sideline. That’s understandable, considering it was a disappointing effort all around.

But what happened afterwards is noteworthy.

With a clap of his hands, Diggs emerged from his spot on the Bills’ bench and proceeded to high-five everybody in sight. The gesture was a quintessential example of a team captain trying to rally his troops.
