Several stores in Wilkes Barre Township closed their doors at 6pm last evening because of threats of looting that appeared on social media. Among those, Wal-mart and Wegman's. Law enforcement took the threat seriously although later the post was removed and the alleged poster said it was meant as a "joke". No word if any charges have been filed as the investigation is on going. All businesses are planning on reopening as usual today.
