Due to the coronavirus Bishop Joseph Bambera of The Diocese of Scranton is suspending Holy Communion via chalice and barred physical contact when parishioners exchange the sign of peace.The changes are effectively immediately across all 11 counties within the diocese.
Bishop Bambera say even though there are no reported cases of the virus in Pennsylvania, the situation across the country is changing rapidly, the safety and health of our local faith community and all of Northeastern and North Central Pennsylvania is a priority.
